Fires Spreads Across Alberta

  • by

In my newly released novel, the long shot, someone read from an article in the Edmonton Capital:

‘The fires started in Idaho’s great western white pine forests, whose trees held large amounts of resinous sap that boiled out and formed a cloud of explosive gas. With their great numbers, trees exploded and pushed flaming tongues in the air for thousands of feet. Waves of rolling fires burned west into Montana and Washington, with winds that pushed the inferno north across southern Alberta.’
